ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

The Mémorial ACTe is the Caribbean centre of expression and memory of the slave trade and slavery. Its exhibition retraces the history of the slave trade and slavery from antiquity to the present day through a carefully designed museography. A space dedicated to genealogy is accessible as well as temporary exhibitions. The monumental architecture of the site is overlooked by a footbridge leading to the Morne Mémoire garden.
